Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt - RK Riesling Trocken 2021
Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt is located in the Moselle region of Germany . Founded in 1349, it is one of the oldest and most prestigious in Germany. Until 1978, as its name suggests, it belonged to the Imperial Counts (Reichsgrafen) of Kesselstatt. The Reh family took over the estate in 1978, and for many years, Annagret Reh-Gartner, supported by her husband Gerhard, ran the estate until her death in 2016. The estate has 46 hectares of vineyards, spread across the Moselle , Saar , and Ruwer regions on steep, south-facing slopes composed of stony and schist soils. Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt is a member of the VDP (Verband Deutscher Prädikatsweingüter) association, which brings together the best German wine producers.
RK Riesling Trocken is produced from grapes grown in the Goldtröpfchen vineyard outside Piesport on the Moselle River. This wine is dry.
