GEVREY CHAMBERTIN TRAPET JEAN-LOUIS 2017
The estate was created in 1919 by the Trapet family in the Côte de Nuits appellation, in Burgundy. Since 1995, the vineyard has been converted to biodynamy. Jean-Louis Trapet owns 15.70 hectares of vines: 14.50 hectares in red (Pinot Noir) and 1.20 hectares in white (Chardonnay).
Complex, subtle and affirmed the lieux-dits of Gevrey-Chambertin are among the most famous of Burgundy for its unique and rare diversity of soils that range from lias marls on hillsides to chalky gravels. The Gevrey-Chambertin of Jean-Louis Trapet comes from 8 different plots.
2017 is a good vintage for the Gevrey-Chambertin vintages and will reach its peak from 2021.
