The Chantal Lescure estate is the proud owner of 18 hectares on some of the most beautiful terroirs of Burgundy, mainly in Pommard, but also in Nuits-Saint-Georges. Since the end of the 90s, this domain has started its revolution thanks to the hard work of François Chavériat. Passionate and convinced that you cannot make great wine without great grapes, he has implemented both in the vineyard and in the cellar, working methods that respect the soil, the vine and its environment, and grapes above all. The wines are the successful amalgamation of modernism and the authenticity of Burgundy wines. François Chaveriat, who converted the estate to organic farming, is now in certification, continues the revolution in the cellar. Complete destemming for better fruit, reduced doses of sulphite, more chaptalization for 5 years, and a much less insistent woodiness. All actions are part of the primary research of the terroir and especially not the imposition of any "paw" of the winegrower.
