The soil composition is varied with limestone scree on the upper part and clay on the lower slope. The Pinots Noirs are here half a century old with a high planting density of 10,000 vines per hectare. Aging for 18 months in oak barrels renewed at 60% for 1 year, the rest in one-wine barrels.

Rather dense ruby color with garnet reflections. The nose develops a very precise aromatic expression on forest fruits with beautiful, very frank mineral notes.

The palate shows a certain generosity from the start in a very beautiful architecture. The mineral character is still very present, the mid-palate is full, concluding with ripe tannins.

A superb vintage cut between power and minerality.
