Les Cailloux du Paradis - Etienne Courtois - Racines Blanc 2016
Les Cailloux du Paradis belongs to Claude Courtois and is located in Soings-en-Sologne, near Cheverny. Claude Courtois manages the vineyard with his son Julien and cultivates 13 hectares of Gamay, Cabernet Franc, Côt (Malbec) and Cabernet Sauvignon in red varieties as well as Sauvignon Blanc and Pineau d'Aunis and other indigenous varieties. They work with respect for nature, without chemical intervention and using atypical winemaking techniques.
Racines is the estate's top-end wine. Racines Blanc is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Menu Pineau, Romorantin and Chardonnay aged for 30 months in barrels.
