LA GRANGE TIPHAINE - Clef de Sol blanc 2019
La Grange Tiphaine is located in the Loire Valley, and produces wines in the appellations of Montlouis-sur-Loire,Touraine and Touraine-Ambroise. The 15-hectare vineyard is an exploitation dating from 1850, then specialised in polyculture (tobacco, cereals ...) and which sees its first vines in the 1970s. The domain was bought in 2002 by Coralie and Damien Delecheneau and they work today together, assisted by two employees: Mathieu and Jean-Rémy. They decided to convert the vineyard to organic farming and obtained biodynamic certification in 2014.
Clef de Sol Blanc is made from Chenin Blanc of around 80 years old, cultivated in the appellation of Montlouis-sur-Loire. The harvest is manual and the grapes are meticulously sorted before starting the alcoholic fermentation which takes place in barrels. Aging is also carried out in barrels, on lees.
