Clos Louie - Louison & Leopoldine 2019
Clos Louie is located in the village of Saint-Gènes-de-Castillon, in the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. The estate was created in 2003 by Pascal and Sophie Lucin-Douteau, from the heritage of a small plot. They expand their vineyard by buying plots dating back to 1962, the majority of which are planted with Cabernet Franc. From the start, they turned to organic vineyard management and obtained certification. The vineyard is being converted to biodynamics. Their range now consists of two wines.
Louison et Léopoldine is a cuvée that bears the name of their children, to highlight the youth and liveliness of their wine.
