Weingut Bründlmayer - Grüner Veltliner L&T 2019

Weingut Bründlmayer is a winery located in Langenlois , Kamptal, northwest of Vienna, Austria . The estate specializes in producing white wines made primarily from the Grüner Veltliner grape variety. Since 1947, a selection of the estate's most popular wines has been stored in the 700-year-old "vinothek" (wine collection) to provide historical records for future generations. Owner Willi Bründlmayer places great importance on the ecological balance of his vineyards and uses only organic fertilizers to cultivate his vines. He relies on natural resources: no herbicides are used, and the vines are trained just above the ground to maximize the beneficial effects of the soil's warmth on the grapes.

L&T Grüner Veltliner is made from grapes grown on raised, slightly cooler terraces with light, stony soils. Sugar formation in the grapes takes longer on these sites. Fermentation is cool, producing a certain effervescence in the wine that disappears again during maturation. Thanks to careful handling, gentle racking, and early bottling, the wine is slightly sparkling in its youth.
