Mas Bécha - Excellence Rouge - Magnum 2016
Mas Bécha is located in Nyls-Ponteilla, in Roussillon. Since 2008, Charles Perez has managed the 25 hectares of vines according to the principles of organic farming, certified since 2011. From his training at the OIV, between technical training and travel, he has retained a taste for meetings, a culture of high standards and the desire to share. The vineyard is located on the Aspres terroir, former fertile agricultural land with limestone subsoils. He establishes a protected biodiversity with olive trees, almond trees and cork oaks which acclimatise to the Mediterranean climate. Bottle labels are made each year by a different artist.
Excellence is a blend of Syrah (80%), Grenache (10%) and Mourvèdre (10%). The grapes are cold macerated for 25 days before aging in vats. Bottling is early.
