Domaine Leccia - Heritage 2019
Domaine Leccia is located in Poghju d'Oletta, as a heritage site in Corsica . Viticulture became the main activity of the Leccia family in 1900, and developed with Pierre Joseph Leccia who sells bottles in the estate. In the 1980s, they passed the estate on to Annette Leccia , who is still in charge today, while preparing for the transfer to her nephew Lisandru. The 13-hectare vineyard is run in certified organic farming .
The Patrimonio Rouge is made from Niellucciu , which is about 25 years old. The manual harvest is stripped and incubated for 15 days in a stainless steel tank with daily rewinding. The wine is aged for 18 months in a stainless steel tank .
