Feudi di San Gregorio - Taurasi 2017
Feudi di San Gregorio is located in Sorbo Serpico, Campania . The estate was founded in 1986 and consists of several vineyards around Campania, including those of Irpinia, Tufo, Taurasi and Avellino. One of the most important visions of Feudi di San Gregorio is to believe that the birth of a wine has the same creative process as a work of art. The love and passion in caring for the plants, the commitment to the harvest and the patience waiting for the wine to mature ensure that each bottle expresses its personality and becomes a work of art. It is with this approach that collaborations with great masters and young talents are born. Irpinia, a historic region of the Campania Apennines, is a unique wine region, where vineyards have always coexisted with fruit trees, woods, olive trees, aromatic herbs.
This wine comes from the Taurasi appellation and is made from the Aglianico grape variety. It is aged 18 months in French oak barrels of medium toast, then 9 months in bottle.
Grape variety: 100% Aglianico
