Moe Distillery is located near the town of Tapa in Estonia . In 1886, the pharmacist Jakob Kurberg bought the Moe distillery (created in 1688) and undertook the construction of a fine spirits distillery, modern for the time. Moe Distillery produces premium spirits from grain. The company's mission is to preserve the cultural heritage of traditional vodka production while developing and promoting the Estonian spirits industry. They only use local, high quality ingredients and have zero tolerance for colorings and added sugar.
Mohn Poppy gin is made from rye alcohol. In 1688, the island of Muhu was called Mohn, which in German means "poppy island". This artisanal gin uses wild poppies, green and blue juniper berries and poppy seeds from the unique island of Mohn.
