Clos des Centenaires - Grenache Vieilles Vignes 2021

Le Clos des Centenaires is located in the Costières-de-Nîmes appellation and extends over 7 hectares of a hill of Villafranchiens rolled pebbles. Le Clos des Centenaires belongs to Luc Baudet and his wife Stéphanie. The soils are cultivated with natural grass with superficial plowing and particular care given to the biodynamic compost that they prepare each year. Inputs are limited to natural products approved for organic farming , without pesticides.

Grenache Vieilles Vignes is made from 100% Grenache . Vinification takes place in concrete vats and the grapes are not destemmed. Fermentations occur with native yeasts. Extraction is done by pumping over, and without punching down. Aging takes place in second-use 400 liter barrels .
