Domaine de la Gerbelle - Claude Quenard - Chignin Bergeron 2019
Domaine de la Gerbelle is located in Chignin, in Savoie . The property was originally a farm which belonged to the Carthusian Order, where a mixed farming and breeding activity was developed. In the 1960s, Claude Quenard specialized in viticulture. At the beginning of 2000, his sons Claude, André and Guy converted the vineyard to organic farming. Biodynamic certification was obtained in 2016. Today, a new generation is taking the reins of the estate and putting their personal mark on it by launching a craft brewery activity, also focused on organic principles.
