Champagne Drémont Marroy - Les Rosiers - Extra Brut 2018
Champagne Drémont-Marroy is located in Charly-sur-Marne, in the Marne Valley in Champagne . The family estate is today managed by Jean-Rémi and Mélanie Drémont . Their great-grandmother, Odette Drémont, was a winegrower and teacher. Their grandparents, Jean-Marie and Geneviève Drémont were farmers and breeders, and only cultivated 1 hectare of vines. It was under the leadership of their parents, Jean-Louis Drémont and Françoise Marroy, that the vineyard expanded from 1 to 7.5 hectares. The estate extends over 4 villages and includes 23 plots. Jean-Rémi and Mélanie Drémont practice viticulture close to and respectful of nature and biodiversity. The vineyard has been certified in organic farming since 2022.
Les Rosiers is a blend of Meunier (84%) and Pinot Noir vinified in red (16%) from the 2018 vintage. The champagne is aged on slats for 45 months . It is bottled with an Extra-Brut dosage of 3 g/L .
