House Les Alexandrins - Cabin - Viognier 2024
"Domaine & Maison Les Alexandrins" was born from the association of three figures from the Northern Rhône Valley: Nicolas Jaboulet , 6th generation of a family of winegrowers established in Tain l'Hermitage since 1834, Guillaume Sorrel , son of Marc Sorrel of Domaine Sorrel en Hermitage, and Alexandre Caso , the specialist in the terroirs of the Northern Rhône Valley. In 2014, Alexandre and Guillaume's desire to promote the wines of Domaine Les Alexandrins and Nicolas's desire to anchor Maison Nicolas Perrin in the heart of the Northern Rhône Valley led the 3 men to collaborate more and more closely.
The Maison Les Alexandrins wines are more modern in their approach and more contemporary in their style. The northern vintages are declined, based on exceptional terroirs unearthed by Alexandre Caso, specialist in the terroirs of the North of the Rhone Valley.
Cabanon Blanc is made from Viognier grown at altitude on the heights of the Ardèche. The harvest takes place early in the morning to preserve the freshness of the berries. The harvest is put into direct pressing at low temperature. Vinification and aging are carried out in stainless steel vats .
Grape variety: 100% Viognier
