Domaine Les Bruyères - David Reynaud - Beaumont 2024
Domaine Les Bruyères is located in the Crozes-Hermitage appellation, in the Rhône Valley. Managed by David Reynaud since 2000, the estate produces wines using certified organic and biodynamic farming methods . The estate covers 27 hectares of vines, on a terroir made up of clay-limestone terraces and pebbles.
Beaumont is made from Syrah grapes harvested on the clay-limestone terraces in the commune of Beaumont-Monteux. The grapes are harvested manually, with manual sorting on the vines and then on a sorting table. The grapes are completely destemmed and vatted, then devatted by gravity. Vinification is traditional and takes place in raw concrete vats. Vatting lasts 2 to 3 weeks with pumping over and sweeping of the lees before pressing. The wine is then aged in raw concrete vats .
Grape variety: 100% Syrah
