Domaine Les Bruyères is located in the Crozes-Hermitage appellation, in the Rhône Valley. Managed by David Reynaud since 2000, the estate produces wines using certified organic and biodynamic farming methods . The estate covers 27 hectares of vines, on a terroir made up of clay-limestone terraces and pebbles.
350m is made from Syrah whose vines are between 20 and 30 years old, grown on a granite plateau at an altitude of 350 meters on the right bank of the Rhône. The harvest is manual and the grapes are sorted on the vine and on a sorting table upon arrival at the vat room. The harvest is entirely destemmed and vatted by gravity. Traditional vinification is carried out in concrete vats, vatting lasts 28 to 32 days with punching down. Aging lasts 12 months in demi-muids (30%) and concrete vats (70%).
