Domaine Roblot Marchand - Echezeaux 1993

Located above the village of Flagey-Échezeaux and in the plain, this vineyard is located between Vougeot and Vosne-Romanée in Côte de Nuits. Exposure to the rising. The Grands Echezeaux extend the Musigny on the southern axis of the coast, according to a drawing less animated, more regular. They are separated by the bottom of the valley of Orveau.

The Échezeaux cut the entire hillside between the Clos de Vougeot and the Premiers Crus of Vosne-Romanée. The Grands Échezeaux and Échezeaux (AOC Grands Crus of July 31, 1937) are, like the Clos de Vougeot which is separated by a wall, foundations of the abbey of Cîteaux from the twelfth and thirteenth centuries. They are based on Climats from 230 to just over 300 meters (13% slope to mid-slope). Here we find, in the upper part, deep soils (70 to 80 centimeters). Gravel, red silt, yellow marl, etc. constitute a rather complex mosaic.
