Yvon Metras - Fleurie 2018

Yvon Metras is one of the most recognized producers of Beaujolais, and more particularly for his cuvées of the Fleurie appellation that he produces in biodynamics. He joined the family estate in 1988 and now owns 6 hectares of vines, some of which were planted in 1898. Since 2014, his son Jules has taken over and continues to raise his Gamay to the rank of very great wines.

This Fleurie 2018 is a light, silky and supple wine, with a characteristic florality and lively aromas of blueberries and red berries. Its aging potential is at least 10 years.
