Our vineyard is made up of 20 hectares in one piece. Château Coucy is located on predominantly clay-limestone slopes.
It enjoys a southern exposure which ensures intense sunshine, offering our berries perfect maturity.
On the southernmost part of the operation, there are white clays, characteristic of Parsac. Here stands a chapel designed by Viollet-le-Duc in the 19th century.
Located former appellation Parsac Saint-Emilion, the town merges with that of Mountains in 1973.
Our region hosts two grape varieties typical of the Right Bank.
Merlot is traditionally the king of Libournais grape variety, it is present at 85% in our blend.
Cabernet Franc represents 15% of the grape variety.
This blend allows us to present you wines of great aromatic finesse.
We enjoy an oceanic climate, temperatures are mild and rainfall is high, which can make our work more complicated.
