Domaine Moine Hudelot - Bonnes Mares 2000
Domaine Moine Hudelot is located in the commune of Chambolle-Musigny, in Burgundy. This estate was originally a small family domain, managed by Daniel Moine, the former mayor of Chambolle-Musigny, before being bought in 2008 by Patrick Landanger from the Domaine de la Pousse d'Or. The estate no longer exists as such today but its wines remain appreciated by experienced amateurs.
This micro-production of Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru is the wine that has made the reputation of the Domaine Moine Hudelot and is among the best in this prestigious appellation. The 2000 vintage in Burgundy is marked by a capricious climate. In Côte de Nuits, the random weather had a significant impact on the vines and a lot of sorting was carried out in the vines but also on the sorting tables to ultimately come up with a good vintage.
Grape variety: 100% Pinot Noir
