Eric Pfifferling - Domaine de L'Anglore - Traverses rouge 2018
The Domaine de l'Anglore is located in the Rhône Valley, in Tavel. It belongs to Eric Pfifferling, a beekeeper's son, and covers ten hectares in Tavel and two hectares in Lirac. He works alongside his wife Marie, and since 2017, their children Joris and Thibault have also took part in the management of the estate. The vineyard is cultivated in certified organic agriculture. The vines are cultivated without chemicals, the harvest is manual and the intervention in the cellar is minimal.
Traverses Rouge is a blend of Syrah and Grenache with an average age varying between 50 and 100 years. The wine is vinified and then aged in stainless steel tanks.
