Beso de Vino - Syrah and Grenache 2016

Beso de Vino is a range of wines produced by Grandes Vinos , in the Cariñena region of Spain . Grandes Vinos was created in 1997 as a pioneering associative business model of its time thanks to the contribution and work of the winegrower members of five cooperatives. The Cariñena appellation has a rich and varied landscape full of vineyards of all ages, some more than a century old, located at different altitudes, between 320 and 850 meters above sea level, and rooted in a unique terroir. The strong, dry local wind is a strategic ally for the good development of the vineyard, naturally contributing to the prevention of pests and the preservation of the environment. These elements allow partner winegrowers to practice sustainable viticulture , supported by technological innovation rigorously applied by Grandes Vinos.

This cuvée is a blend of Grenache whose vines are over 40 years old and Syrah whose vines are over 15 years old. The wine is aged for 3 months in barrels : 70% American barrels and 30% French barrels.
