Château Cazebonne - The Great Wine - White 2020
Château Cazebonne is located in the commune of Saint-Pierre de Mons in the Graves , in Bordeaux . The property now extends over 40 hectares, entirely conducted in certified organic and biodynamic agriculture from the 2020 vintage. The Château was bought in 2016 by Jean-Baptiste Duquesne , entrepreneur and wine enthusiast in collaboration with David Poutays , winemaker at Clos de Mounissens. Together, they decided to replant all the historically forgotten grape varieties of Bordeaux.
The Grand Vin Blanc 2020 is a blend of Sémillon (55%), Sauvignon Blanc (35%) and Sauvignon Gris (10%) . The young Sauvignon Blanc grapes are harvested manually from the Peyron gravel, and the Sémillon and Sauvignon Gris come from the Bouché plateau. The whole is fermented and aged in barrels of 500 liters of 1 wine with a gentle toast, and in a sandstone amphora .
