Domaine Emmanuel Darnaud is located in La Roche de Glun, in the north of the Rhône Valley . In 2001, Emmanuel Darnaud settled in Crozes-Hermitage with 1.50 hectares of leased vines. The estate today extends over 15 hectares in Crozes-Hermitage, including 0.25 hectares of white grape varieties, as well as 1.70 hectares in the Saint-Joseph appellation. The vineyard has been certified as High Environmental Value since 2020.

After manual harvesting, the harvest is partially destemmed and then fermented in vats where vatting lasts 15 to 20 days. The wine is aged in barrels or demi-muids of 1 to 2 wines for approximately 18 months .
