Domaine de Trévallon - Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2023
Domaine Trévallon is located in the town of Saint-Etienne-du-Grès, on the northern slopes of the Alpilles in Provence . The property extends over 17 hectares, made up of vineyards, scrubland, holm oaks, olive trees and almond trees. In 1950, Jacqueline and René Dürrbach bought Mas Chabert and in 1960, the adjoining property: Trévallon. Eloi Dürrbach planted the first vines in 1973, and managed the vineyard with Floriane for more than thirty years, until her death in November 2021. The emblematic bottle labels are the work of René Dürrbach, Eloi's father , painter and sculptor and friend of many painters, including Pablo Picasso. The vineyard has been certified in organic farming since 2007.
This Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made from berries selected from 800 olive trees grown organically on the property. The extraction is cold and the oil is not filtered.
