Rosé de Chevalier 2021
Domaine de Chevalier is located in Pessac-Léognan , a sub-region of the Graves appellation in Bordeaux. It is classified Grand Cru Classé de Graves . The Domaine de Chevalier has the particularity of having retained its title of “domaine”, more common in Burgundy than in Bordeaux. In 1983, the estate passed under its current ownership when it was bought by the Bernard family , who renovated the winery and expanded the vineyard. The estate has approximately 45 hectares of vines on soils rich in gravel and clay, most of which are devoted to red grape varieties.
Rosé de Chevalier is made from Cabernet Sauvignon (70%) and Cabernet Franc (30%) vinified by bleeding and direct pressing.
