Domaine Alain Voge - Fleur de Crussol - Saint-Péray 2022
Domaine Alain Voge is located in Cornas, in the Northern Rhône . Alain Voge took over the family vineyards in the 1960s and began to develop the estate's reputation by focusing on artisanal know-how and striving to get the best out of its terroir. From the early years, he focused on the Cornas and Saint-Péray appellations; in 1987, he was the first winemaker to ferment his Saint-Péray in barrels. In 2004, Albéric Mazoyer became associate director of Domaine Alain Voge. In 2011, Claude Bourguignon (soil microbiologist) carried out a study of the estate's soils and a hierarchical characterization of the terroirs. A year later, Lionel Fraisse arrived at the estate – he took over full management in 2018 following the retirement of Albéric, and the death of Alain Voge in 2020. The 13-hectare estate has been certified biodynamic since 2016.
