The Tenuta Tignanello estate is located in the heart of Chianti Classico , in the hills between the Greve and Pesa river valleys. It covers an area of 319 hectares, of which about 130 hectares are dedicated to vines and divided into small plots. individual vineyards. Two of the estate's most prized vineyards are on the same hillside, Tignanello and Solaia , on soils derived from marine marl rich in limestone and shale. The wine is left in contact with the skins and gentle pumping over is carried out for intense extraction while preserving elegant and supple tannins.
