Château Peyrat - Graves Red 2022
Château Peyrat is located in the commune of Cérons, a stone's throw from the Sauternais vineyards, in the Bordeaux wine region. In 2014, Aurélien Dulor, Ludovic and Damien Martial came together around a common dream: to operate a wine estate, preferably in AOC Graves. With their shared experiences of 15 years in the wine industry, they found in Château Peyrat the ideal environment to enhance and develop a vineyard. They set up the project to bring together passionate investors, attached to the Bordeaux wine heritage, in the form of a Wine Land Group. A group of 27 partners sharing this dream was then brought together. The 17-hectare enclosure is in one piece and benefits from a microclimate due to its proximity to the Garonne.
The Graves Rouge 2022 is a blend of Merlot (60%), Cabernet Franc (20%), Cabernet Sauvignon (15%) and Petit Verdot (5%) . The vatting lasts 4 weeks with gentle extractions by pumping over and punching down. The wine is aged for 12 months on fine lees in concrete vats, demi-muids and one-wine barrels .
Grape varieties: 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot
