Domaine Henri Boillot - Burgundy Chardonnay 2023
Domaine Henri Boillot is located in Meursault, Burgundy . The estate was named Domaine Jean Boillot until 2005, but was changed when Henri Boillot bought the vineyard shares from his siblings to distinguish it from the new Domaine Jean-Marc Boillot owned by his brother. Since 2008, Henri Boillot has been accompanied by his son Guillaume , who is head of viticulture and winemaker of the estate's red wines. They limit interventions and all inputs as much as possible, a philosophy applied since the 1990s that makes the estate a pioneer in ultra-sustainable vineyard management . The specialty of the Boillot father and son is concentrated on two appellations: Puligny-Montrachet and Volnay.
Burgundy Chardonnay comes from the villages of Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Romain, and Auxey-Duresses. The wine is aged in single- or double-vintage oak barrels.
Grape variety: 100% Chardonnay
