Selected by La Revue du Vin de France (special Grand Millésime 2009 issue), it is a wine full of richness, complexity and aromas of exotic fruits. A pronounced minerality releases delicate aromas of smoke and flint on the nose and in the mouth. It offers good aging potential: 5 to 10 years minimum.
To appreciate all its complexity, the organic Clos de la Meslerie can be drunk alone or as an aperitif. The underlying aromas of fruit and its power make it a perfect match with spicy dishes or with goat or sheep cheese. Its mineral side also goes well with many fish dishes, seafood, or even roast poultry.
