MOUTON ROTSCHILD - Eau de Vie de Prunes
A very rare Magnum of Eau de Vie from the famous Château Mouton Rothschild - 1st Cru Classé from 1855 in Pauillac appelation.
The Eau de Vie from Mouton-Rothschild Plums] comes from a confidential production. So confidential that his calligraphy could suggest that the Baroness, herself, would have taken the pen to illustrate the label. The dressing is also of a sobriety and elegance worthy of Premiers Grands Crus Classés.
Mouton's Eau de Vie is made from five noble varieties of plums, all picked by hand. There are plums of Alsace, Mirabelle of Metz, Mirabelle of Nancy, Reine-Claude and finally Plum d'Entre.
All the know-how and traditionalism of Pauillac's Premier Grand Cru Classé is concentrated in it, to the delight of the amateurs.
Her dress is intense, amber in color.
