Domaine Benoit Ente - Puligny-Montrachet 2018
Benoit Ente is a Burgundy winemaker based in Puligny-Montrachet, he is the brother of Arnaud Ente. The history of the estate dates back to 1990, when Benoit and his aunt took over the vines from their grandparents. The fruits were then sold to traders until 1997. Until 2013, Benoit managed about 3 hectares of vines, but he doubled his production in 2013 when his aunt retired. The estate now operates around 20 parcels covering around 6 hectares. Partisan of sustainable viticulture, Benoit maintains the soil of the vines without weedkiller or chemical fertilizer, the protection of the vineyard is organic.
