RACINES ROUGE (Lot 2017-3) - CLAUDE COURTOIS LES CAILLOUX DU PARADIS
Les Cailloux du Paradis belongs to Claude Courtois and is located in Soings-en-Sologne, near Cheverny. Claude Courtois manages the vineyard with his son Julien and cultivates 13 hectares of Gamay, Cabernet Franc, Côt (Malbec) and Cabernet Sauvignon in red as well as Sauvignon Blanc and Pineau d'Aunis. They work with respect for nature, without chemical intervention and using atypical winemaking techniques.
Racines is the estate's great cuvée. It is a blend of several grape varieties, which the Courtois do not mention, which undergoes a long maceration and 18 months in barrels.
