Eric Pfifferling - Domaine de L'Anglore - Nizon 2018
The Domaine de l'Anglore is located in the Rhône Valley, in Tavel. It belongs to Eric Pfifferling, a beekeeper's son, and covers ten hectares in Tavel and two hectares in Lirac. He works alongside his wife Marie, and since 2017, their children Joris and Thibault have also took part in the management of the estate. The vineyard is cultivated in certified organic agriculture. The vines are cultivated without chemicals, the harvest is manual and the intervention in the cellar is minimal.
Nizon is a particular cuvée since it is the result of the blending of five red and white grape varieties: Grenache, Bourboulenc, Aramon, Cinsault and Clairette. The maceration in whole bunches lasts 15 days then the wine is aged in demi-muids for 10 months.
