Champagne JACQUESSON - Cuvée n° 738 D.T (dégorgement tardif)
The Champagne House Jacquesson is located in Dizy in the Marne Valley, in Champagne. Its history dates back to 1978, when the Chiquet family bought the brand and transferred it to their family estate. In 1988, Jean-Hervé and Laurent Chiquet took over and since supervised a rapid rise in popularity when Jacquesson was ranked third best of all the Houses after Bollinger and Krug. The vineyard is located in two distinct regions: the Grand Cru of Aÿ and two Premiers Crus at Dizy and Hautvillers in the Marne Valley and two Grands Crus in the Côte des Blancs at Avize and Oiry. 80% of Jacquesson's wines come from their vineyards, certified in organic farming since 2010.
The Cuvée No. 738 D.T. (Late Disgorgement) is a blend of Chardonnay (52%), Pinot Noir (24%) and Pinot Meunier (24%). It spends 96 months on the lees before being disgorged in June 2019. It is dosed at 0.75 g/L.
