Château Cazebonne - Galets de Cazebone - Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Château Cazebonne is located in the commune of Saint-Pierre de Mons in the Graves, in Bordeaux. The estate spreads over 40 hectares, entirely conducted in organic and biodynamic agriculture certified from the 2020 vintage. The Château was bought in 2016 by Jean-Baptiste Duquesne, entrepreneur and wine lover in collaboration with David Poutays, winemaker at Clos de Mounissens. Together, they decided to replant all of Bordeaux's forgotten historic grape varieties.
This Galets de Cazebonne plot cuvée is made from manually harvested Cabernet Sauvignon. It is aged in terracotta amphorae for 5 months to oxygenate the wine and refine the tannins. This cuvée produced 3,800 bottles.
Grape variety: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
