MAS DE LA SERANNE - Le Clos des Immortelles 2019
Mas de la Séranne is located in Aniane in the Terrasses du Larzac and takes its name from the chain of hills opposite the estate. In 1998, Jean-Pierre Venture and his wife Isabelle returned to their native Languedoc and decided to change their professional life. The initial five hectares of vines now spreads over 16 hectares carried out in certified organic farming with biodynamic influences.
Le Clos des Immortelles is a blend of Syrah (40%), Mourvèdre (25%), Grenache (20%) and Cinsault (15%). The vinification is traditional and the maceration is long. Aging lasts 13 months in Allier and Center oak barrels, from first to third use.
