Château Les Clauzots - White 2020

Château Les Clauzots is located in Saint-Pierre-de-Mons, in the Graves appellation of the Bordeaux wine region. In the early 1900s, the Tach family moved to a place called Les Clauzots where the activity was then cattle breeding, cereal cultivation and the first white grape varieties. Marceau Tach produced in 1920 the first wine of the estate, a sweet. In 1960, the family abandoned polyculture and planted its first red grape varieties. Frédéric Tach joined his father Paul in wine production in 1988. Winegrowers from father to son, Frédéric perpetuates the rite with his two sons, Adrien and Maxime. In 2018, Château les Clauzots called on the services of Hubert de Boüard Consulting to develop the activity. The vineyard now covers 37 hectares, certified High Environmental Value .

Graves Blanc is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc (70%), Sémillon (25%) and Sauvignon Gris (5%) . The grapes are placed in cold skin maceration for 24 hours before pressing. The wine is aged 6 to 8 months on fine lees .
