Champagne Lanson - The Black Reserve - Brut
Maison Lanson is located in Reims, in Champagne . Founded in 1760, it is one of the oldest Champagne Houses. The Lanson vineyard extends over 57 hectares, 16 of which are organic and biodynamic. Lanson also maintains long-standing partnerships with other winegrowers, which allows it to obtain grapes from 100 different crus, half of which are classified as Grands Crus and Premiers Crus.
The Black Reserve is the second cuvée imagined by Hervé Dantan, the cellar master, with the aim of offering a non-vintage Brut Champagne, combining freshness and complexity. It is a blend of Pinot Noir (50%), Chardonnay (35%) and Meunier (15%) from the 2014 vintage with 45% reserve wines . Of the 100 Crus from which the grapes come, 70% are classified as Grand and Premier Crus. It is aged 5 years in the cellar and is bottled with a Brut dosage of 7 g/L .
