Maison Mounicq was founded in 2017 by Cédrik Nadé , in Bordeaux . He grew up in Fronsac, in a small family winery. He uses grapes from the Bordeaux region to produce spirits.
Gin Avem is a London Dry Gin made in Cognac and assembled from three eaux-de-vie . The first distillation is carried out with the four grape varieties used for vodka: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Sémillon. During the second distillation, only the juniper berries (essential to produce Gin) are distilled. The third distillation includes aromatic plants: Jamaican pepper, coriander, lemon peel, etc. Finally, these three distilled liquids are put together.
Ajaja is a Gin aged 10 months in barrels of Clos Candelayres, a red wine exclusively made from Merlot in the Fronsac appellation.
