Champagne Gondé-Rousseaux - Blanc de Fût - Blanc de Blancs 2017
Champagne Gondé-Rousseaux is located in Taissy, in the Montagne de Reims in Champagne . The house was founded in 1976 by Edith Rousseaux Édith and Didier Gondé , working on a rental area of 3.96 hectares. Since 2013, Florian Gondé has taken over the management of the estate and has evolved towards biodynamic viticulture, without certification. Champagne Gondé-Rousseaux practices gentle and creative oenology, with pressing and vinification in small volumes and the conviction that each of the plots of the vineyard is unique.
Blanc de Fût 2017 is made from Chardonnay grown on the Taissy terroir, classified Premier Cru. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in American oak barrels . The wine is aged 8 months in barrels then 5 years on slats . It is disgorged 12 months before it is marketed and is bottled with an Extra-Brut dosage of 6 g/L . 1,459 bottles were produced.
