Clos Larrouyat - Météore 2022
Clos Larrouyat is located in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, in the Jurançon appellation. It is an estate created by Maxime Salharang in 2011, in honor of his maternal grandfather, Roger Larrouyat. The 3 hectare vineyard is managed biodynamically on a unique terroir of pebbles from the Ossau Valley, but is only certified in organic farming . Maxime Salharang mainly cultivates two grape varieties: Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng.
Météore is a dry Jurançon , made from Petit Manseng (60%) , supplemented with Gros Manseng (40%) . The grape varieties are vinified separately, aged in barrels of several wines for 6 months then finally blended before bottling.
Grape varieties: 60% Petit Manseng, 40% Gros Manseng
