Jules Metras - Chica Rouge 2022

Jules Métras , the son of the well-known Yvon Métras, has recently been producing wines in Beaujolais , in the Chiroubles and Beaujolais-Villages appellations. From its 2 hectares of vines, its first vintage saw the light of day in 2014. The vineyard is certified biodynamic .

Chica is the only vintage produced by Jules Métras in 2022, its plots for the Bijou and Chiroubles vintages having been decimated by frost. Chica is made from Gamay blended with grapes from his winegrower friends : Marc Delienne, Robert Denogent and Claire Chasselay.
