Château BELLEVUE 2019
Château Bellevue is located in Saint-Émilion , on the right bank of the Bordeaux wine region. In 2000, famous Bordeaux consultants Nicolas Thienpont and Stéphane Derenoncourt oversaw the upgrade of the wines of the château and its vineyards. In 2007, the Coninck family sold its share to the Boüard de Laforest family. Since then, the estate has been managed jointly by the Pradel de Lavaux and Boüard de Laforest families . The property extends over approximately 10 hectares, entirely planted with Merlot, and includes 2 hectares of parkland dotted with trees.
Château Bellevue is made from Merlot whose vines are 40 years old. After the manual harvest, fermentation takes place in stainless steel, concrete and wood vats . Vatting lasts 2 to 3 weeks. The wine is aged for 16 to 20 months in barrels .
