Château Les ORMES DE PEZ 2010
Château Ormes de Pez is located in Saint-Estèphe , in the Bordeaux wine region. After a succession of owners following the French Revolution, Château Ormes de Pez was the first bought by the Cazes family in 1940. The 40 hectare vineyard benefits from a mild maritime climate thanks to the influence of the estuary of the Gironde and the Atlantic Ocean. The estate is managed using sustainable agriculture : use of products that are neutral for the environment, optimized phytosanitary control, resting the soil in flower fallows.
Les Ormes de Pez 2010 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (57%), Merlot (34%), Cabernet Franc (7%) and Petit Verdot (2%) . The wine is aged for 15 months in French oak barrels , 45% of which are new.
