Located in Soings-en-Sologne, Etienne Courtois is located on the family estate that Claude now shares with Etienne. The latter works according to the precepts his father taught him and without compromise, he works without chemicals in the vines, and without inputs for winemaking. The wines are racy and faithful to the estate's trademark.
No sulfur, careful vinification, maturing for 18 months in old oak barrels weathered by time and which for the most part have already seen twenty vintages.
Romorantin opens with aromas of honey, wax (typical of the Romorantin grape), cooked banana, gingerbread, citrus, white fruits. A very beautiful nose, complex and original supported by minerality. The palate is powerful, fat and lively with both lemony and spicy notes and a long, very original saline finish of great beauty.
