Chateau SIAURAC 2015
Aline and Paul Goldschmidt have worked hard in recent years to bring this vast 46 ha property back to light. With François Pinault's entry into the capital in 2014, Château Siaurac is opening a new era in its history. Like the châteaux Vray Croix de Gay (Pomerol) and Le Prieuré (Saint-Émilion), the wines have made great progress and the latest vintages are of a good standard. The reds turn out to be well balanced and juicy, without excess extraction or overly dominant oak. Sold at a reasonable price, Siaurac also produces a second wine under the name of Plaisir, which forms a delicious bordeaux of fruit and thirst, especially when tasted young.
